Angelina’s love of music began at a year and a half. She had recently discovered Whitney Houston and that by typing a few letters on the keyboard, she could pull up a YouTube video of her favorite song, “I Will Always Love You.” In and of itself, this is impressive behavior for a toddler, but her parents also discovered that she was remarkably good at singing along.
It wasn’t long before Angelina’s love of music and singing had her exploring new genres of music, notably jazz. Billie Holiday came to replace Whitney Houston as her vocal inspiration, and soon Angelina was requesting Karaoke versions of her favorite songs, and singing regularly for family. Everything changed, however, when she saw an advertisement for Norway’s Got Talent.
Though she was only 7 at the time, she left the audience and judges no doubt that she was something special. As the season progressed, she only continued to amaze her fans. Standing with her feet bare, and her front teeth still growing in, she won the competition and gained worldwide recognition. Since then, she has traveled to the US and Asia to perform on TV shows like ‘The View’.
Close your eyes and listen. You would never imagine the sultry voice and soulfulness you hear is coming from a child. SF Globe is completely taken by her. We hope, that despite all the attention, she is able to maintain her childhood.
