When it comes to cops caught on camera and the news, it seems like it’s rarely a positive video. That’s why I love this cell-phone video so much! I’m not the only one, either… it’s quickly gone viral and brought the Kansas City police officers a lot of attention for their work in the neighborhood.
Three officers pulled over on the side of a residential neighborhood street where several young teenagers were playing basketball. Instead of breaking up the game and telling the kids to move it off of the street, the officers used their cars to block traffic and played a pick-up game with the youth. Despite getting beaten pretty badly, these officers left the scene as heroes in my book!
