These chimpanzees were tragically taken from their mothers to be locked in tiny cages and used for lab testing. Thankfully these chimps were taken from that horrible situation and brought to this beautiful sanctuary. After decades locked alone in tiny cages they are about to see the sunlight and play in the grass for the very first time. And watching them discover their new home had me reaching for the tissues!
