When Steve Harvey’s daughter Karli got married to her true love Ben, it was an emotional day for everyone involved — especially for Steve, who is definitely not one to hide his feelings. After all, Karli is his first born child and the two have remained incredibly close over the years.
In the year leading up to Karli’s wedding, Steve’s viewers helped her and Ben make some important decisions for their big day. So, it was only fair that the newlyweds gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the wedding they helped plan — which included countless candles, beautiful music, and many, many flowers. 120,000 stems and 60 floral designers over the span of 10 days, to be exact. “I told my daughters I was gonna give this to ‘em, the day of their dreams,” Steve says. “I didn’t know they dreamed of this many flowers.”
But the most tearjerking moment came when Steve walked Karli down the aisle, arm-in-arm. It’s clear he doesn’t want to let her go, but that he knows her daughter is happy — and that’s all a doting father could ask for.
Karli knew the moment Steve gave her away would be magical, and luckily for us, this moment was captured on camera for all to see.
