Nicole Cortez received the most beautiful (an completely unexpected) surprise from her father at her wedding. When it came time for his toast, he stood up and started repeating the lyrics to Heartland’s “I Loved Her First”…but in sign language.
What made it so amazing and special is that Nicole is a sign language interpreter. Her father told her afterwards it took him the entire year she was engaged to learn how to sign the song. You can see from Nicole’s reaction how much it meant to her.
