It turns out, this is a common occurrence for these two — they’re best friends, and the play like this all the time! Neither one gets aggressive or has been injured by their playtime, and it’s suspected that the squirrel has a massive crush on his feline friend.
Two things: One, I love how the squirrel slides off the cat’s body. And two, in some ways this family’s funny conversation taking place while this scene is all going down is almost just as entertaining as the cat and squirrel! Can we make smores, Mom? HA!
