Boon, the Golden Retriever, teaches her 7-week-old puppies a thing or two about how to behave in the snow. In response, they proceed to tackle their playful mother in a display of affection that left me feeling warm and fuzzy.
These adorable dogs live in Vermont on Butternut Hill with hobby breeders, one of whom uploaded this video. According to their website, the breeders named their program “Butternut Hill” because “we live on a hill at the base of Butternut Mountain, with our butternut colored Golden Retrievers, who love to eat butternut squash.” The breeders are also very specific in describing their humane treatment of these wonderful dogs, even explicitly stating that they only sell their puppies to those they have personally evaluated. Needless to say, these pups are well-cared for and are treated as members of the breeders’ households.
Watch this family frolic in the snow and let us know what you think in the comment section below. This video brightened my day.
