Great Danes are big dogs, but even dogs this big usually only have around eight puppies. And while a ton of puppiessounds like a fantastic thing, I can only imagine what it would be like to suddenly have 19 little ones barking all at once!
Snowy, a Great Dane in Pennsylvania recently had not 10, not 15, but 19 puppies, and thankfully, all of them are doing fine!
“It’s a shocker, but I’m glad that they’re all here,” Snowy’s owner Brandon Terry told news outlets, adding that while some of the puppies were delivered (a few weeks early) at home, the rest were delivered at a local animal hospital.
I’m so glad mom and babies are doing fine – but 19?! That just makes my head spin!
