This helpful trick is great to spice up your egg game. If you love hardboiled eggs, you absolutely have to try scrambled hardboiled eggs. They’re certainly unlike anything I’ve ever seen before!
The concept behind the scrambled hardboiled egg is pretty straightforward: you want to shake up an egg so that the insides are mixed, then immediately boil it. The result is a fully orange egg that you can pick up and eat on the go. (the darker the egg yolk is, the healthier the chicken that laid it and therefore the better it will taste).
So what are the benefits to scrambling the egg inside the shell before boiling it? First and foremost, it’s a way to shake up an old classic. Sometimes you just need to try something different! If that’s not enough for you, there are health benefits as well. When you cook a scrambled egg the traditional way, you need some sort of fat to cover the pan so that the egg doesn’t stick. This adds calories to your meal. If you scramble an egg before you hard boil it, you don’t have to worry about additional calories!
