When it comes to deodorizing our home, we have a choice. We can either go to the store and buy candles and other scented productsthat contain lots of chemicals or we can go a more natural route.

If we choose the healthier route not only will we protect our family’s lungs, we can also create the products ourselves.

In the video below, you’ll learn how to create quick, easy, and inexpensive DIY air fresheners. Check out this awesome tutorial now!

To complete this project, you’ll need an empty candle container, a mason jar with a tin lid, a screwdriver, hammer, fork, baking soda, and some essential oil.

In the first project, you’ll start with your empty candle holder. Clean it out with hot water and soap and all the labels should come off.

Pour baking soda in the jar until it’s filled up about a quarter of the way. Then sprinkle about 8-10 drops onto the baking soda. Stir it around with your fork. For an added touch, nestle a tea candle in the center. This DIY air freshener is perfect for your bathroom or bedroom.

In the second version, tighten the lid on the Mason jar. Then place your screw driver on the lid and then hit it with the hammer to make five holes in a diamond-shape pattern on the lid.

Now uncover and do the same process with the baking soda and essential oil.

When it’s ready, tighten the lid back on and you’ll have a slow-release air freshener for any room of the house.

Please SHARE THIS DIY PROJECT with your friends and family today!
