There are many different kinds of ads and commercials nowadays. We’ve seen all different kinds of marketing techniques used over and over, trying to get us to buy one of the newest items on the market today. New techniques are tried daily but there is some that are used over and over again.
One of the most popular ways to sell something is to put a famous person next to it. If that company has a famous person, one that is a “Hollywood favorite” they feel like they are more likely to sell more of that particular product. While this does seem to be a relatively successful tactic one company decided to try a different one.
One company in Ireland made a commercial, for a company called Vodafone, and they used a very unlikely star. A piglet. This company made an entire storyline for this little piglet that is found on an abandoned road and the entire commercial is of the man who found her trying to get her back to her rightful owner.
The ending of this commercial however, is one that is sure to steal your heart. We definitely didn’t see it coming but when we did, we could feel ourselves just melt. We promise that you won’t regret watching this short commercial that stars and adorable baby pig. So sweet!
