When we think of love we normally think of people and their families. We normally think of people and how they react to love and the causes and effects of it. I think it’s fair to say that the word love doesn’t usually spark the pictures and ideas of animals in our heads, but it should.

Most people don’t realize just how loving and close animals are. While it is true that some animals are solitary creatures and don’t like to be around any other animal there is a much higher number of them who are in fact very sociable and prefer to live in groups.

One such animal that we know and love but may not realize is a social animal are lions. Lions live in groups called prides and they stay together for their entire lives. Lions are very close to the other lions in their pride, so much so that if they are ever separated they have been known to go into deep depressions.

This featured video will show one female lion who has been separated from her pride for three days and the effects that it has had on her. She is very sad and depressed and seems to have almost given up but she made one last attempt to call out to her pride. See what happens when she made that final call.

Watch this amazingly touching video below and let us know what you thought of it. As always please feel free to share this video on your social media with your family and friends.
