It’s every parent’s worst nightmare, to be in a situation where your child is suffering and you feel utterly helpless. I couldn’t get through this video without holding my breath the entire time!
The disturbing yet remarkable video below shows a child choking and strangers coming together to save his life. The boy is rushed into a store and into the hands of a mysterious tattooed stranger. He and another complete stranger steps up and take turns preforming the Heimlich maneuver and CPR on the boy.
Eventually, these hometown heroes save the child’s life. It’s amazing to see people, regardless of class or skin color, helping each other in such a powerful way. There are good people in the world, and we’re happy to recognize them.
Families should be armed with preparedness by learning adult and infant first aid/CPR. God forbid you need those skills, but knowing them could save a life.
