Every since he retired, my father has golfed every single day. Naturally, when I go to visit him, I end up playing a few rounds of golf with him, and I have a great time — until around hole nine where I start getting incredibly frustrated with my score.
My problem, as with so many golfers out there, is that I need to work on my putting. Putting seems like the easiest part of the game — you’re just feet away from the hole! But any experienced golfer will tell you that putting is one of the most deceptively difficult parts of the game. That’s why I love this video, and I sympathize with their reactions.
I won’t spoil it, but I wonder how long it took these students at the Golf Academy of America in Orlando to nail this trick shot. When the Academy uploaded this video to their YouTube account, they claimed that ESPN Radio’s Scott Van Pelt and Ryan Russillo called this the “Best Available Video.”
I agree. I’ve watched it three times now. I think I know where I’m going for my next putting lesson.
