When an electrical contractor sadly placed a call to homeowners in Keren, Texas, he had some bad news to deliver: Their horse was dead. But the response was not what he was expecting.
No, my horse isn’t dead, the woman then tells him, he just plays dead. Needless to say he didn’t believe her and she traveled over to show him how, “He plays possum.”

No I don’t, he plays dead all the time. Is his leg sticking straight up in the air?
Yes ma’am. I’m telling you he’s dead. The leg sticking up is because rigor mortis has set in ma’am, I know horses, I own a few.
Sir, my horse ain’t dead. He plays possum. But I’m coming give me a minute please.
“Why do you keep playing dead? Pinto, get up,” the woman in the video says exasperatedly.

“Quit playing dead,” she says, then mutters, “Every day I think I’m gonna have to get a tractor out here and get you up … You embarrass me in front of the neighbors.”
The woman finally tosses something at Pinto – who actually is a pony, not horse – and he grudgingly rolls back onto his feet.
