Everyone remembers their wedding day, but Jennifer Darmon’s wedding was certainly one for the books. The beautiful bride suffered a terrible accident in the summer of 2008 when her and a group of friends were hit by a car during a road trip. The car, which was going the opposite direction of Darmon’s van, caused the van to roll, and left Darmon with a severe spinal injury that ultimately paralyzed her. Darmon’s boyfriend Mike Belawetz made every effort to support his girlfriend during the troublesome time, and even made the big gesture of proposing to her. After Darmon and Belawetz were engaged, it became Darmon’s goal to walk down the aisle at her wedding. This video shows the breathtaking moment at her wedding, when the double doors open to reveal Darmon standing arm-in-arm with her father and brother.
