Michigan weather is not kind to the homeless animals living outside on the streets. In an effort to stay safe and warm, many animals will resort to desperate measures. In this case, an unlikely, yet beautiful, friendship formed as the result of the harsh cold.
The heroic angels at the Michigan Humane Society rescue team received a call about a puppy left outside in the rain near an abandoned house. When a rescue driver arrived, he found the female puppy curled up between two garbage cans.
When she ran out to greet the rescue driver, the man naturally assumed the rescue was complete. But, just then, he heard loud sounds coming from the same spot where the puppy had been hiding. What came next is simply miraculous — enough to bring tears to my eyes.
I won’t give it away, because it’s just too special — you have to see for yourself. But this video does a great job of showing the wonderful benefits of animal rescue and adoption. Bravo!
