If you have a family of your own, then you know that it’s incredibly taxing and difficult to be away from your kids. Time seems to pass by so slowly. An hour seems like a day, a day feels like a week, and a week can seem like a month, possibly even longer.
Imagine if you were both a father and a servicemen in the military. Not only do you have kids to raise, but you are also sacrificing time with your family in order to serve the country. You might get deployed for months at a time, with no guarantee of when you might see your family again.
This is often the case for the brave men and women who serve in the United States military.
In the clip below, you’ll meet John, a man who has been deployed for the past 7 months. His wife recently gave birth to a newborn baby boy, and John has only seen photos of him. He’s dying to meet his little boy, but little does he know, that there’s an unforgettable gift waiting for him.
