We know kids throw tantrums most of the times, somtimes for the silliest reasons. They can shout, scream, throw things on the floor. We can accept that from them since they’re just kids.
However, the kid in this story is a fully grown man who threw more than a tantrum. He literally threw a new brand BMW car into the river.

The young man, identified as Akash from India’s northern state of Haryana, was 22 when the incident was reported in 2019. He had told his parents that he wanted a new Jaguar for his birthday. It was also reported by abc.net.au that Akash already owned several SUVs.
But the “arrogant” son was in disbelief when he saw that his parents got him a brand new BMW 3 Series as his birthday gift because that was all they could afford. One of the police officials even said that the parents sold off one of their cars to buy their son the BMW.
Akash was upset about the BMW and found that it was too small for him and his buddies to ride around in.
He continued to insist on being granted a Jaguar from his parents until one day, he sank his new BMW into a river on purpose, according to CBS News.
No one, least of all his parents, expected to see a luxury car drowning in the Western Yamuna Canal that day.

“I wanted to give my son a birthday present. We could only afford to give him a BMW, while he kept on insisting that he be given a Jaguar. He said the vehicle was too small but we thought he will be okay,” said the father of the young man. “We never imagined he would do anything like this.”
A local police official said, “Akash was demanding for a Jaguar car from his father, but when his father failed to buy one, he threw away his BMW in a fit of anger. His family had sold the Innova they had received from his in-laws to buy him the BMW.” According to the police, the parents also claimed that their son had a mental issue, details of which were not revealed.
Onlookers who saw the incident take place revealed that Akash jumped out of the car at the right time before the vehicle sank deeper. Locals helped him out and a crane had to be used to pull the car out.

Fox News also quoted a police official who said, “The youth was arrogant and kept insisting that he be given a Jaguar as a BMW is a little small for him and his friends inside. We would do a preliminary investigation but this seems to be a personal matter. We will proceed according to the law.”
However, a single report by the Times of India says he had swerved the car away from an antelope that was crossing the road, which led to the car hitting the waters.
