Having a car stolen can be one of the most devastating things that can happen to a family. This is particularly true for families who may be living with little left over at the end of the pay cycle. In most cases, stolen cars are never found. If a stolen car is recovered, it has typically been stripped of parts or misused to such a degree that the car is a total loss. A month after their car was stolen, Chelsea Peters was surprised to see what looked like her SUV in a nearby gas station.
