Using your God-given talents to help others is a wonderful thing you can do to make the world a better place, and that’s exactly what artist Shawn Van Daele did. He had an idea one day to “use the talents and abilities I have to do something that people everywhere could find hope and inspiration in.” That’s when he began The Drawing Hope Project.

He photographs sick children and helps their dreams come true by cleverly editing their photographs. The outcome is a magical, “real” photo of the kids doing whatever they could dream up. And it melted my heart into a gigantic puddle.

If you’d like to learn more about the project, visit The Drawing Hope Project website orFacebook page. It’s truly a wonderful thing that this artist is doing for children.
