A trucking company in Louisiana has decided to honor police officer who have lost their lives on the job with a custom wrapped Freight liner Cascadia.

The company, Frisard’s Trucking, of Gramercy, Lousiana, says the truck will be part of their every day fleet.

During the unveiling of the truck, Frisard’s owner, Cully Frisard, explained that he wanted to honor members of law enforcement who have given their lives for their communities.  He also wanted to do something to make up for the lack of respect for law enforcement from his younger days.

“I had no respect for law enforcement. I had no respect for the officers who put their lives on the line to serve me,” Frisard said.

“I messed up as a boy. Now I’m a man, and I somehow want to make up for what I have done in my past.”

Frisard also said that the truck will be routed around community of fallen officers whenever possible.

Take a look at the unveiling of the truck below.
