think it’s safe to say that this new mom is going to have her hands full! Nobody at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ will forget the day married couple Alicia and Brandon Alston entered through their doors.

The Alstons share a heartfelt moment minutes before Alicia is wheeled into the delivery room. Alicia wipes away tears as her husband holds her belly for the last time before she goes inside to deliver quadruplets.

According to an article published by news source KVOA, Brandon and Alicia had been trying to get pregnant for years, but to no avail . “Every Christmas went by and promised her, I said, ‘Next year we’ll have a family,'” Brandon told KVOA. Brandon goes on in his interview with KVOA to describe the moment he and his wife found out they were having quadruplets: “I’ll never forget, the doctor was looking and he told me, he said ‘There’s babies everywhere.’ I had to brace myself.” Finding out you’re having quadruplets when you only expected to get pregnant with one child can be quite the shock.

Thanks to the talented staff at Banner Good Samartian Medical Center, the delivery went as smoothly as one could’ve hoped. Dr. Alexandria Hill told reporters that, “The delivery was rather fast and furious,” but that all the babies emerged doing very well. The quadruplets were born at 32 weeks into the arms of loving parents.

we couldn’t be happier for the Alstons. We know they have their work cut out for them, but parenting is one of the greatest joys life can bring, and they’re getting it times four. Watch the video below and tell us what you think in the comments section.
