When flash flooding and severe thunderstorms hit the town of Pueblo, Colorado in 2010, the entire town was in distress. Torrential rains caused water levels to rise rapidly, making it difficult for residents to navigate familiar roads. Pueblo resident Charlene Deherrera soon found herself in a dangerous predicament that was getting worse by the second when her vehicle gradually began submerging in rising waters.

In an attempt to traverse a flooded area, Deherrera’s SUV started to sink. The worst part about the already terrifying situation was that Deherrera didn’t know how to swim so the possibility of saving herself was out of the question. Fortunately, a group of bystanders sprung into action at the sight of the sinking vehicle, but attempts to free Deherrera were unsuccessful. That is, until the miraculous moment when Deherrera’s hand somehow met with a rescuer’s and she was pulled from the SUV.

This miraculous story is baffling all those who come across it. Watch the video and SHARE your thoughts with us.
