Teyana Taylor, star of “One Battle After Another,” got into a backstage confrontation with a security guard at the Oscars on Sunday, alleging that he physically pushed her.
“You put your hands on a female,” the 35-year-old actress is heard saying in a video shared on X that captures the aftermath of the incident.
“He literally shoved me. He was almost shoving her,” she adds, pointing to an unidentified woman nearby.
Teyana Taylor said she was “shoved” during the confrontation, which unfolded moments after the Oscars broadcast ended.
According to reports, the incident occurred just as the show wrapped, when Taylor tried to return to the stage at the Dolby Theatre to take photos with her co-stars following a best picture win. A security guard reportedly blocked her path — along with Pam Abdy, co-chair of Warner Bros. — using his body to stop them.
The guard allegedly placed his hands on Taylor to hold her back.
Taylor has not addressed the incident on social media, and her representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
Teyana Taylor has not yet commented on the situation.
