As people get grow up, they consider the choice between a career and family. It’s impossible to commit yourself 100% to both (unless you’re just one of those awesome people who can do everything, including going to the gym). A woman in Brazil by the name of Nívea Salgado graduated with a degree in Dentistry and obtained both Master’s and Doctoral degrees in the field. However, she decided to give it all up to focus on her family when her daughter was born.
As she raised her daughter, Nívea realized that there would still be huge challenges to overcome. Little Catarina became a picky eater. She would only eat apples and, after a stressful period, her mom came up with a brilliant plan. By using the manual skills she developed as a dentist, Nívea began creating fantastical plates of food for Catarina. She couldn’t resist eating them! (And you’ll see why.)
