The drama surrounding Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos’ broken engagement shows no signs of slowing down.
A copy of the memo reportedly sent to wedding guests confirming the cancellation of their destination wedding surfaced online Monday, just two days after news broke that the couple had called off their engagement—roughly a month before the planned celebration.
The note, obtained by TMZ, read:
“As many of you know, our wedding is currently scheduled to take place in Lake Como, Italy, on Friday, April 10, 2026. It is with heavy hearts that we privately inform our attendees that we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our wedding. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and welcome your prayers.”
News of Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos’ broken engagement first surfaced in March 2026.
Prescott, 32, and Ramos closed the message to wedding guests by signing their names, confirming the difficult decision.
The split was initially reported Saturday, following the couple’s joint bachelor and bachelorette celebrations in the Bahamas.
According to TMZ, their relationship had “been rocky behind the scenes for months,” culminating in a “blowup argument” during the Caribbean getaway, after which Ramos decided to call it off.
A representative added, “It’s still shocking for them since this happened so recently, and they ask for privacy while they sort everything out.”
Prescott is preparing for his 11th season with the Dallas Cowboys, having signed a four-year, $240 million contract extension with the team in 2024.
