“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” a source told Page Six on Monday, adding that Kidman “did not want the separation and was trying to save things.”
According to multiple sources, the actress and country music star have been living apart “since the beginning of summer,” with TMZ being the first to report the news.

The outlet reported that Kidman, 58, has been caring for their two children: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. “[Kidman is] holding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone,” a source said, referring to Urban’s ongoing tour.
Urban, 57, has reportedly moved out of their family home in Nashville, Tennessee, and purchased his own property in the same city.
It is not yet clear if the former couple plans to proceed with a divorce.

Kidman and Urban tied the knot on June 25, 2006, nearly a year after meeting at the G’Day USA gala in January 2005. Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, and the two share two children: Bella, 32, and Connor, 30.
